About Terrii
Terrii Zernechel
In graduate school, Terrii is scheduled to receive her master’s degree in creative writing from Tiffin University in the summer of 2025. Previously, she attended Kent State University and has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatrical Design and Technology. She works full-time in Cleveland and lives with her dog, Abbi, and cat, Ezio. Terrii openly and honestly shares her struggle with mental health and is an advocate for suicide prevention and awareness. She also coaches CrossFit part-time at a local gym.
Inspiration
Inspired by the poetry and writing of Richard Brautigan, Terrii’s poetry mimics his style. Her favorite book of his is In Watermelon Sugar.
Dune is among her favorite science fiction novels. Inspired by Frank Herbert, Terrii is currently beginning the research phase for an untitled science fiction novel she plans to start after graduation.
Norse Mythology also heavily influences Terrii’s life. Her projected capstone project is about a Nordic Deity.
